Players aren’t the only ones who get a summer vacation.
We asked some coaches what they did with their summer break.

“The funnest thing I have done is finally be able to chip and putt. It’s been the first time in three months I have been able to get on the golf course. I had two major surgeries (knee replacement and removed prostate) in the spring so I haven’t been able to do much. That’s been the highlight so far. So I am just looking forward to be able to walk without pain.”

“We went to Washington D.C. for about a week. We walked around and saw all the monuments. We got to see all the sites. The neatest thing we saw was the National Cathedral. It was beautiful. The only bad thing is that it was really hot.”

“Me and my family went to L.A. We went to Disneyland and Universal Studios in early June. I didn’t like the L.A. traffic too much. But we got to tour the Universal Studios backlot. It was a couple of days after they had a huge fire their. We saw all the damage that it did to some warehouses. It was still smoldering and there were fire trucks still there. It was pretty bad. At Disneyland, we really liked the SplashMountain ride.”
