Basketball practice begins today all over the state and plenty of questions are out there.

Is this the year Putnam City breaks through with senior Xavier Henry and transfer Kyle Hardrick?

Will McGuinness and Daniel Orton win another title?

Who's the best girls basketball player in the area? Ashley Bruner of Norman or Del City's Toni Young or Desiree Jeffries?

Practice starts today and VYPE will be there the whole season. Watch for the November issue, which will highlight players and stories to watch for this season, and watch for The Fall Report - out late this month - as we hit the highlights on the upcoming football playoffs and preview the 2008-09 football season.

More on that later. It's time to get to practice now.
