Former Stillwater pitcher headed to the Olympics

Former Stillwater pitcher Brett Anderson has been named to Team USA for the Olympics.
Former Stillwater standout Brett Anderson is heading to the Olympics in Beijing after being named to the USA baseball team. He was one of 24 players selected to play in the Olympics, which begins in early August. The lefty, who is the son of Oklahoma State baseball coach Frank Anderson, is one of the top prospects in the Oakland Athletics organization. He was drafted in the 2nd round (55th pick) of the Major League Baseball draft in 2006 with the Arizona Diamondbacks. For more information click on the link below from The Oklahoman:
