If you are an athlete or a parent of an athlete, you have most likely spent hundreds of hours traveling, training, watching competitions, or competing.

Your commitment, passion and love of the game have all led to successes in your sport. However, what needs to happen when athletes have the higher goals of playing and competing at the collegiate level?

How does one approach the recruiting process? When is the best time to start thinking about it?

Student-athletes are meeting the demands of schoolwork, athletics and social growth. Most coaches do all they can do to help athletes. But there is not an efficient system to help athletes connect with college programs. Therefore, parents who are highly motivated to help their son or daughter participate in collegiate athletics need to take an active role in the recruiting process.

For parents, managing the recruiting process for a high school athlete takes serious commitment and time. Marketing a student-athlete to college coaches is like a part-time job. There is research to be done, development of resumes, cover letters and sometimes highlight film production. Knowing the collegiate skill level of an athlete can also be an enormous challenge. Time can be wasted trying to get your athlete in front of college programs that are not the right fit. The do-it-yourself approach can produce less than ideal results and is very time consuming.

Recruiting companies take a similar approach, but they control the process. Hiring a recruiting company means that you do it their way – at their price –, which can be thousands of dollars. You end up paying a lot of money for a service that you cannot monitor or track.

So what’s the solution? How do I help my child get the exposure they deserve? How do I increase the chances of scholarship opportunity? What is the most effective and affordable way to connect with college coaches?
Answer: College Coaches Network.

College Coaches Network (CCN) is an innovative, on-line recruiting platform that delivers real recruiting opportunities and very real results. Utilizing the power of the Internet to create an online network that gives parents and athletes direct access to college coaches and recruiters does this. CCN eliminates the expensive middleman, creates legitimate exposure, and saves time.

CCN also offers extensive education about the recruiting process with Recruiting U. This valuable online tool covers eligibility standards, economics and the needs of parents and athletes who are new to the recruiting world.

Hundreds of college coaches use CCN to watch game film, check academic eligibility, and evaluate talent. Parents and athletes can use CCN to establish communication with college recruiters and coaches, nationwide.
Just ask Adrian Powell, a high school basketball player from North Carolina who used CCN to create his online profile, complete with full-length game film. In his first few weeks on College Coaches Network, Powell was contacted by several schools like; The University of South Carolina, Indiana, and Richmond University, who were all interested after seeing Adrian’s film and profile online. His exposure to recruiters and coaches has increased greatly. College coaches from around the country have evaluated, contacted and recruited Adrian from their own computer. Both parties have streamlined online access to each other.

For just $20 per month, CCN is efficient, affordable, credible and result-oriented. You can quickly create an account, build a sport-specific profile, upload or send game film, target specific schools and monitor profile activity.
