Bobcats' Hall chosen to represent Oklahoma
Darrell Hall of Star Spencer High School was chosen to attend this year's NFL Youth Football Summit in Canton, Ohio, held as part of the festivities leading up to this year's Hall of Fame Induction.
As one of 51 coaches selected this year (one from each state and one from Washington D.C.), Hall will join youth coaches and other supporters of youth and high school football, including 20 former NFL players now coaching at the high school level, in Canton July 22-25.
The Youth Football Summit is designed to support the youth coaching community. Football experts and guest speakers will be on hand to discuss topics vital to the continued success of youth and high school football.
Coaches were selected for the summit through a nomination essay, which could be submitted by someone in the community or the coach himself. A panel of football leaders reviewed the essay submissions and selected one coach from each state to serve as the delegate.
