Derby distance runner Jake Wike placed sixth in the Class 6A 3200 meter run at last spring’s state meet. Wike has the fourth-best returning time from the state meet in Class 6A, and placed fourth this past fall at the Class 6A state cross country meet. As a junior this spring, he will compete for the state title.
