Heath Carroll will do his best in 2008 to put Wellington back on top, right where his dad, Preston, and coach, Linn Hibbs, had it in the early 1980s
Heath Carroll, a quarterback in youth football and junior high, moved from fullback to center on the offensive line in 2007. The talented leader is versatile, willing to do whatever his coaches ask of him. Preston Carroll, his father who played tight end, cornerback and kicker for Tom Young on Wellington's 1982 state title team, and Heath's coach at Wellington, Linn Hibbs, the quarterback for the state runner-up Crusaders in 1981, try to match Heath's answers to 10 questions.
