On the same night, Hutchinson dug in against McPherson (inset). For the second time in three weeks, Hutchinson scored over 40 points in the first half against a quality 5A opponent (the other, Salina Central). Hutch defenders Nate Dreiling (18), Tyler Fee (47) and Nate Thomas combine on a tackle against McPherson, which was undefeated and ranked ahead of the Salthawks before taking a 68-7 loss on the chin to them.
