Gridlock - Valley Center sophomore Cade Blair may have had the upset run of the 2008 wrestling postseason. Blair defeated Colby Crank of Hutchinson in the second round on his way to the 5A 135-pound title match against Kapaun's Joe Hagan. Blair upset Hagan in a gridlocked match, holding off a battling Hagan during the final minute to win 1-0 and a state title.
