Letter From Publisher

Beginning with the February 2008 issue, VYPE will be changing its delivery schedule from the first week of the month to the week of the 15th of each month. We are making this move to provide a better publishing cycle to our schools. The advantages are as follows: We believe it better coincides with the normal school calendar as it relates to kids in the classroom. For example, we send our August magazine out the first week of August but there are no kids in class until mid-August. We would also have more time to better cover pre-season football. Also related to the school schedule, our current publishing cycle delivers January magazines in the first week of January before the kids are back in class. If you wait a week to distribute, like we did this January, you only get three weeks on the shelf before the February issue is distributed.
