Beginning tonight with Andover High at West High and concluding Saturday night, there will be five match-ups between the City League and Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League. The Andover High boys, coming off a 71-52 loss at home to McPherson, try to rebound against West High tonight. West won its first City League game since 2006 against South last week. The Hutchinson boys, coming off a 65-61 loss at home to Andover Central Thursday night, look to build against East High Saturday night. Hutch got a late start to the season, as most of their top players are football players who only started practice this week due to their run to the state title concluding on Nov. 29. East looks to rebound from the season opening loss to Heights. The Aces also play South tonight. Derby, which had a disappointing season in 2007-2008, plays at Southeast Saturday night. Southeast is led by guards Cecil Shaw and Joe Mitchell, as they defend their 6A state title. Also on Saturday, Northwest travels to Maize, and South plays at Campus.
