September 18 - Heights at Southeast September 30 - Kapaun at Southeast October 7 - Heights at Kapaun (Stryker Field) Favored to compete with Kapaun for the City League title last season, Southeast played second fiddle to Heights, which won the city and beat Southeast in the state quarterfinals. October 9 - Buhler at Andover After Andover spoiled Buhler's bid for state in 2006, Buhler returned the favor in 2007, just weeks after losing 3-0 to the Trojans at the end of the regular season. October 14 - Maize at Heights October 16 - Maize at Southeast October 21 - Northwest at Maize Maize ends its season outside league play, tuning up for the playoffs against the City League's top 6A programs. The Eagles lost 1-0 to Heights, beat Southeast 4-3 and lost 1-0 to Northwest before dropping another to the Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs 3-1. October 14 - Rose Hill at Andover Andover also plays at Rose Hill on September 18. A placer at state three times since 2000, Rose Hill has fallen behind 2003 state champ Andover the past two seasons. October 23 - North at Heights After being named City League Coach of the Year in 2007 as Heights placed third at state, Brent Lewis faces his former team after moving over to North High.
