Bryce Brown, Wichita East
With 1,850 yards rushing in 2007, Brown broke his own single-season City League rushing record. Committed to Miami, he ranks among Wichita’s best ever.

Brett Soft, Maize
The Big 12 is looking at the 6’4”, 200-pound wideout with great hands. With 1,422 yards on 81 catches last fall, he broke existing state records.

Jaydan Bird, Conway Springs
After playing only four games at Andover Central is 2007, Bird is ready to go beyond his sophomore-year form (over 1,500 yards, 28 TDs).

Deveon Dinwidde, Hutchinson
The small and quick Dinwiddie came on late in 2007 to average 12.2 yards per carry and 39.3 per catch.

Joe Brown, Bishop Carroll
Brown gained 1,105 total yards on 98 touches lining up at fullback and tight end as a junior. He averaged 15.8 yards per catch and 6 per carry.

Joseph Randle, Wichita Southeast
Randle has national-recruit talent, rushing for Bryce Brown-like numbers in 2007 – 1,733 yards and 21 TDs.

Demarcus Robinson, Wichita Northwest
Coming off 1,102 yards rushing and 11 TDs as a sophomore, Robinson also placed second in the 6A state 100 meter dash (10.88).

Jake Snodgrass, Derby
He’s well under six-feet tall and not quite 160 pounds, but Snodgrass passed for 1,606 yards and rushed for 730, scoring 24 TDs as a junior.

Daniel Capul, Garden Plain
In the shadow of Logan Dold, Daniel Capul rushed for 910 yards and 12 TDs in 2007, including 230 yards against Hesston in the playoffs.

Josh Smith, Hutchinson
Stepping in at fullback for the injured Romero Cotton, Smith gained 943 yards and scored 19 TDs. On 149 carries, the “Moose” lost only three yards.

Myles Pinick, Rose Hill
Despite not carrying the ball in three of the first four games of 2007, Pinick rushed for 1,176 yards and 11 TDs in seven games.

Corey Harp, Andale
Two-year starting fullback and linebacker led the team with nine sacks and had 50 solo tackles in 2007.

Blake Bell, Bishop Carroll
Averaging 12.1 yards per catch in 2007 as a sophomore, the 6’6”, 200-pound Bell will run the offense at quarterback this fall.

Ian Knight, Wichita Heights
After compiling 58 tackles and 12 for loss in 2007, Ian Knight, at 6’3” and 240 pounds, is bring recruited by Big 12 and Big 10 schools.

Dorrian Roberts, Wichita Heights
Entering his fourth season as a starter, Dorrian Roberts led the Heights secondary in pass break-ups in 2007 and returned two punts for TDs.

Adrian Hall, Wichita Heights
Though much smaller than his counterpart Ian Knight, Adrian Hall is just as active. He led the team in sacks and tackles for loss in 2007.

Riley Spencer, Hesston
The 6’6”, 260-pound offensive lineman runs a 4.9-second 40, is an outstanding student and committed to KU in June.

Colby Duranleau, Wichita Northwest
The 6’5”, 270-pound offensive tackle is getting looks from several Division I schools. He combines size, mobility and speed.
Alex Schooler, Wichita Collegiate
Schooler, 6’4” and 245 pounds, attended camps at six Big 12 schools and two Big 10 schools over the off-season.

Aaron Wilson, Derby
After playing 15 pounds under weight in 2007 due to sickness, Wilson is 35 pounds heavier than last fall when he was just short of 1,000 yards.

Justin Puthoff, Goddard
Puthoff led the Lions with 90 tackles as a junior linebacker, 13 of them for loss. He’s 6’4”, 230 and quick to the ball.

Caleb Brill, Conway Springs
Brill gained 1,905 yards at quarterback as a sophomore in 2007. He will have plenty of backs to share the load this fall.

Tyler Springer, Mulvane
The 5’10” leaper averaged 21.2 yards per catch in Mulvane’s spread offense last fall. Springer can create space to work in.

Tyler Wilson, Flinthills
Wilson, a 6’4”, 230-pound center and defensive end, is also an outstanding longsnapper for 8-man Flinthills.

Nathaniel Martens, Newton QB
A top student, the 6’0”, 205-pounder rushed for 768 yards and 10 TDs splitting time between fullback and quarterback in 2007.

Tanner Hageman, Cheney
Despite missing the final three games with injury in 2007, Hageman compiled 902 yards at quarterback, accounting for 13 TDs

Marcus Woodside-Heit, Derby
Thirty pounds heavier than last fall, Woodside-Heit is getting Division I looks as a defensive end.

Dylan Knox, Kapaun
A third-string back in 2007 as a sophomore, Dylan Knox averaged 5.1 yards per carry and scored five TDs on just 35 touches.

Kyle Vineyard, Goddard
Output for Goddard’s new smash-mouth approach to offense should come from Vineyard, who averaged 4.9 yards per carry in 2007.
