Gee Named Female Athlete of the Year

Bailey Gee was named the Lynette Woodard Female Athlete of the Year at the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission banquet Friday night. Gee returned to Wichita for the event, as she has been training with the basketball team at Missouri University in Columbia, Mo., since the conclusion of last March's basketball season. Gee led Andover Central to the 4A state title in March, as the Jaguars went undefeated, 26-0, in 2006-07. Gee led the team in scoring and rebounding, dominating opponents inside and out. She joins former Circle High star Bekah Mills on the Missouri basketball team.
