THREE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL EVENTS SCHEDULED AT LUCAS OIL STADIUM IN 2009-10
INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Local sales and marketing firm Compton Strategies announced today that it has scheduled three major high school football events for the upcoming 2009 season.
The lineup includes impressive rival match-ups: Warren Central vs. Ben Davis; Cathedral vs. Chatard; Mooresville vs. Franklin; Greenfield Central vs. New Palestine; Guerin Catholic vs. Brebeuf; Martinsville vs. Bloomington South; and Noblesville vs. Brownsburg.
A total of 23 different schools and teams from 16 different central Indiana counties will compete in the events on Saturday, August 29; Saturday, September 12; and Saturday, October 10.
“We are thrilled to be able to again partner with the high schools and Lucas Oil Stadium,” said Ray Compton. “The staff at Lucas Oil has been very accommodating in assisting us in scheduling these events at one of the greatest sports facilities in America. People easily forget what a great experience it is for Hoosier high school players, coaches and cheerleaders to perform in an NFL stadium. These events will be lifetime memories for the all of those involved.
“We sincerely thank the CIB (Capitol Improvement Board), the Lucas Oil staff and the schools for allowing us to present these outstanding events.”

“We have three major goals,” Compton said. “First, we want the schools and communities to savior the experience of playing at these superb facilities. Secondly, we have a financial game plan that enables the schools to turn these events into profit centers for their athletic departments. And, finally, we want the event to touch as many people as possible in the communities, including youth football players; academic achievers; band performers; and local sponsors.”
With this year’s events, Compton Strategies will have hosted 35 different Indiana high schools at Lucas Oil Stadium. The firm has entertained 45 different Indiana high school basketball teams in the last three years at Conseco Fieldhouse.
