Making her mark: Zionsville senior Emily Dixon opened the 2008 season strong, carding an 81 and runner-up finish at the Twin Lakes Invitational on Aug. 6. Dixon, who has already made her mark on the record books, holds Zionsville records for lowest score per nine and 18 holes, most birdies in a season (30), and most birdies per 18 holes (6). She also led the Eagles to a victory in the nine-team Plainfield Invitational on Aug. 14.
