On Monday, the Indianapolis Colts signed Patrick Kuntz, a Roncalli High School graduate. Kuntz was a defensive lineman at the University of Notre Dame. Kuntz helped lead Roncalli to a third straight Class 4A state title in 2004. The 6-foot-3, 283-pound lineman recorded 114 tackles as a senior with 27 accounting for a loss. Kuntz, who played the final four games of his senior season with a broken arm, logged 14 sacks, one interception and forced two fumbles for Coach Bruce Scifres' Rebels. As a junior, he made 120 tackles. Cardinal Ritter graduate Devin Moore signed with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday. The running back set the University of Wyoming's career rushing record with 2,963 yards. At Ritter, the 5-9, 191-pound Moore was named one of the Top 50 players in the state as a senior in 2003. He rushed for 2,768 yards on 275 carries as a senior, scored 34 rushing touchdowns and ranked second in the state in rushing. Moore averaged 10.1 yards per carry and 197.7 yards per game for the 2003 Class A state champion Raiders. In state finals, he rushed for 210 yards on 27 carries, including a 65-yard touchdown run as coach Jim Boswell's Raiders defeated Seeger High School 28-0.
