All-Hendricks County Girls Basketball Team announced

This month, Hendricks Regional Health held the 21st Annual Girls Basketball Banquest to honor varsity players from Hendricks County. April Foster, the 1999 Indiana Miss Basketball recipient, spoke at the event. Foster played basketball for 23 years, including in the WNBA, and coached NCAA Division I basketball for four years. The highlight of the evening centered on the announcement of the all-county team, presented by Plainfield head coach Curt Benge. This year's all-county team included: Melissa Eades, Avon; Liz Scott, Danville; Stephanie Meyer, Brownsburg; Erika Lesch, Brownsburg; Kasey Johnson, Plainfield; Molly Stewart, Danville; Jessie Jansen, Tri-West; Alex Morgan, Cascade; Sam Ricks, Tri-West; Julia Hensen, Plainfield; Brittany Sallee, Cascade; Haley Austin, Avon; Katie Griffin, Avon; Amy Kramer, Danville; Rachel Turk, Plainfield and Sarah Janssen, Plainfield.
