VYPE "Game of the Week" at Zionsville

VYPE High School Sports Magazine is traveling to Zionsville High School Friday night for its "Game of the Week" for the Class 4A Sectional 9 semifinals. Friday night's match-ups include Westfield vs. No. 9 Carmel at 6 p.m., followed by No. 4 Hamilton Southeastern vs. No. 8 Fishers. The defending state champion Carmel Greyhounds (16-4) advanced to the semifinal round by knocking off Noblesville 65-44 in the opening round on Tuesday. Westfield (16-4) received the bye in the first round along with Hoosier Crossroads Conference champion Hamilton Southeastern (19-1). Fishers (20-3) defeated host Zionsville to advance and will face HSE in a rematch of conference foes. In their regular-season match-up last November, HSE won 48-37. The two programs haven't met in the postseason since the 2007 sectional finals when HSE won 48-30. VYPE HSSM will provide free copies of its latest magazine to spectators in attendance at both games. There will also be a free giveaway promotion sponsored by VYPE HSSM and Man Cave Collectibles. Friday's prize is a framed commemorative Bob Sanders portrait, celebrating the Indianapolis Colts Super Bowl season.
