VYPE "Game of the Week" at Indianapolis Northwest

VYPE High School Sports Magazine is traveling to Indianapolis Northwest High School Friday night for its "Game of the Week" as the Space Pioneers play host to the Indianapolis Howe Hornets. Friday night's match-up will be a clash between to rival Indianapolis Conference foes with the standings still in flux. Howe stands with a 9-4 record overall and a perfect 4-0 in the conference. Northwest carries an 8-8 season mark and holds at third in the conference at 4-2. On the court, Northwest is led by the junior duo of Eric Prather and Ronald Ross. The 5-foot-8 Prather leads the team in scoring with an 11.9 points per game average. Ross, who stands 6-4, is averaging 13.4 points per game to go with 5.7 assists and 9.3 rebounds. Howe intends to counter with the athleticism of sophomore guard Alvin Boutte (12.6 ppg, 9.8 apg) and junior Andre Hampton (17.7 ppg) and senior Damone Eubank (14.7 ppg). The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. VYPE HSSM will provide free copies of its latest magazine to spectators in attendance. The 6th Man Fan will present free t-shirts to the loudest and proudest fans in the stands. There will also be a free giveaway promotion sponsored by VYPE HSSM and Man Cave Collectibles. Friday's prize is a framed commemorative Reggie Miller collage, celebrating the former Indiana Pacers career.
