Noblesville student wins at VYPE's Game of the Week

On the basketball court Wednesday night, the Fishers Tigers walked away victorious 58-46 over the host Noblesville Millers. In the stands, however, Noblesville freshman Emily Edge walked away as VYPE High School Sports Magazine's "Game of the Week" giveaway winner. Presented a commemorative Marvin Harrison photo collage provided by Man Cave Collectibles, Edge (pictured left) was chosen at random using Connective Mobile text-messaging technology. Those in attendance were prompted to text the word "VYPE" to 71813 before the end of the third quarter with the winner awarded prior to the start of the final quarter. Edge, a volleyball player, accepted the award with her friend and teammate, Kayla Akin, a sophomore from Noblesville. Every week, VYPE High School Sports Magazine will award one lucky fan with a free prize at each of our scheduled "Game of the Week" events. The next event is at Lawrence North High School when the Wildcats host the North Central Panthers at 7:30 p.m on Friday, Jan. 23.
