LN's Grimes wins Manning football

A crowd of nearly 1,500 packed into the Lawrence North High School gymnasium last weekend as the top-ranked host Class 4A Wildcats and visiting No. 2 Marion Giants clashed during VYPE HSSM's "Game of the Week." In the end, the Wildcats won the game, but it was Lawrence North senior Bryce Grimes who walked away with the event's most valuable piece of sports memorabilia. Before the the much-anticipated varsity match-up, VYPE High School Sports Magazine offered fans in attendance the option to sign-up for its free newsletter, which appears bi-weekly via e-mail. Free copies of the latest issue were also available and "Game of the Week" partner, The 6th Man Fan provided fans free t-shirts to show their basketball pride. By utilizing texting capabilities at the game, VYPE randomly chose Grimes, a highly-decorated wrestler at Lawrence North, as the winner of its autographed Peyton Manning football giveaway.
