VYPE hits the road for playoff football

The temperatures throughout central Indiana continue to plummet, but the intensity on the gridiron persists with VYPE High School Sports Magazine set to take in the action tonight at Bud Wright Stadium. With the semistate title on the line, No. 7 Southern Wells travels to No. 3 Sheridan in the last hurdle before next weekend's IHSAA Class A State Finals at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Raiders enter western Hamilton County with a perfect 13-0 record this season. Meanwhile, the defending champion Blackhawks stand at 12-1. Partnered with Marsh Supermarkets and WNDE 1260 AM, VYPE tailgate festivities are scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m. near the stadium's front gate. The game's kickoff is set for 7 p.m. VYPE will be handing out free copies of its latest magazine, including our September issue with Sheridan standout quarterback Nick Zachary on the cover, to those fans in attendance.
