Tuesday was another impressive day of golf for several Central Indiana teams.
Just a day after No. 2 Martinsville and No. 7 Avon tied at the Trojan Classic, the two schools met again at the Avon Invitational.
The Artesians, the defending state champions, came out with a 15-stroke win, defeating Avon 305 to 320. No. 11 Zionsville tied for third with a 350. Martinsville's Carleigh Silvers won medalist honors, shooting a 70 at Prestwick.
At the Lawrence Central Invitational, No. 5 Roncalli ran away from the field, carding a team 314 to top runner-up Cathedral by 27 shots.
No. 19 Chatard finished third with a 368, while Ritter came in fourth (386), Shelbyville fifth (396), and host Lawrence Central sixth (417). Roncalli's Jamie Caylor won the individual medalist honors, carding a 74 at Winding Ridge.
In dual match play, Franklin outlasted Whiteland, topping the Warriors 183-197 in nine-hole play. Lindsay Vandivier won medalist honors for the Grizzly Cubs, shooting a 39.
