Staff persuaded Shamrocks to believe in themselves

The Westfield High School baseball team came within one pitch of winning its first state championship. The Shamrocks led Fort Wayne Snider 2-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning of the Class 4A title game, but Snider, down to its final strike, tied the game, then won it in the eighth.
