The Indiana Bulls have found that when it comes to national tournaments, this summer has been twice as nice for baseball. The U-18 team has won two national tournament championships this summer. On July 14, the Bulls red team won the Mid-America national championship after going 6-1, defeating the Bayside Yankees (New York), East Cobb Mets (Ga.), Rawlings Prospects (Missouri) and Evansville Razorbacks. The team's only loss was against the Memphis Tigers. Hobs Donovan (North Central) had three wins for the Bulls during the tournament - two in relief, with the final victory coming in the championship game following 6 and 1/3 innings of work. Rob McPike (Avon) was the team's leading hitter, who according to Mundy, hit over .500 for the tournament.
