Central Indiana, IN

There could not be a better time to share some exciting news, with you, our loyal readers than this issue. Our 2007-08 “Year in Review” collectors’ edition of HSSTM is a celebration of the exciting moments and memories from the past school year. Loaded with unpublished photos, this issue focuses our attention on the student-athletes and teams here in Central Indiana that really proved “hard work, pays off.”
The month of July has also always been a time to look forward when it comes to high school students and athletics. As teenagers, parents, coaches, teachers and administrators prepare for the coming school year; here at the magazine we are also preparing some exciting changes.
In the coming months, you’ll start to see some of these changes in our publication. Get ready for a new, high-powered brand of high school sports coverage that focuses on you, your teams, your lifestyles and your athletic endeavors.
We are officially launching a new brand: VYPE. As a play on the words “varsity” and “hype,” VYPE will celebrate even more of what we have offered as HSSTM: a celebration of those who make up the fabric of our communities, and whose dedication and commitment deserve constant recognition.
VYPE will be your complete resource for real content about the real athletes you know. Our staff will continue to bring the unique type of Central Indiana high school sports coverage that you’ve come to enjoy.
With this new brand, we are launching a brand new Web site, complete with an online community at vype.com/centralindiana. As always, we want to know about you! Sign up (for free, of course) and create a profile. In the near future, you’ll be able to post your clips, start a blog, tell us about the big game and connect with other athletes from around Central Indiana.
We’re thrilled and excited to bring you this new brand and know that you will be too. Let us know what you think at letters.centralindiana@hsstm.com. Get ready, VYPE is coming – and it will change how you view high school sports.
