The Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches have named Ben Davis' Matt Terrell and Park Tudor's Hannah Farley as the 2009 Mr. Track and Ms. Track recipients.

Terrell, an Ohio State recruit, helped the Giants capture back-to-back team IHSAA state titles earlier this month at the Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex at Indiana University.

The standout senior won his third straight state title in the 200-meter dash and with the 400-meter relay team, which consisted of Colin Hester, Anthony Kimmons and Jerobaum Wilson. He also collected his first 100-meter dash title in 10.47 seconds. In his career, Terrell won seven individual state titles.

Farley, a Stanford recruit, guided Park Tudor to a third-place finish at the IHSAA state meet with Lawrence North seizing their girls track crown.

The senior was awarded the state meet's Mental Attitude Award in girls track and field. Farley is a three-time state champion in the 400-meter dash. She took second in her final state appearance. The 2009 Park Tudor Female Athlete of the Year, Farley holds school records in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes as well as the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs.
