Zionsville boys overcome injuries for a shot at redemption in soccer state finals

"We're ready." That's the message coming from Zionsville High School boys soccer coach Bashir Birany heading into today's IHSAA state finals at Kuntz Stadium. It's hard to argue -- the fourth-ranked Eagles (18-3-1) reached sudden-death penalty kicks before losing last year's title game, brought back most of their key contributors (including three prolific scorers: Harrison Petts, A.J. Corrado and Dylan Mares), battled through injuries (including one that sidelined Petts for three weeks) and still have made it this far.
