Carmel shutout by stuffing Fishers' 77-yard drive in last seconds

FISHERS, Ind. -- It was coming unraveled. Quickly. The Carmel High School defense turned Fishers away time and time again in Friday's Class 5A Sectional 4 semifinal. But with the help of three Carmel penalties -- pass interference, holding and unsportsmanlike conduct -- Fishers marched 77 yards into a driving rain to the Carmel 13-yard line.
