Broughton's Baseball Team Members Intent on Playing College Ball

Three of Broughton High School's Baseball team have signed letters of intent to play for colleges in the Southeast. Michael Zeblo, a middle infielder has signed to play at Davidson to play as a true shortstop. Daniel Brown, a right-handed pitcher with an 89 MPH fastball, will suit up for Liberty University and Jake Klein will play centerfield for Furman University.

Girls hockey season underway

The 2008-09 girls high school hockey season began in earnest this week, as teams from around the metro begin their three-month march towards a hoped-for appearance in the Class A and AA State Tournament this February.
