Kenyatta Wright
National Board Member, Arkansas Market Director
Kenyatta Wright, a former NFL and college linebacker, has served on VYPE’s Board of Directors for the past year as the senior director of strategic development for all of VYPE’s operations nationally. In Arkansas, he replaces former Market Director Rhett Lashlee, who accepted a position on the Auburn football staff. Wright was an all-state linebacker at Vian (Okla.) High before signing with Oklahoma State, where he was a four-year starter and the vaunted leader of the famed “Orange Crush Defense.” He then played six seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills.
Mike Capshaw

Mike Capshaw was born and raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Farmington High in 1995. He went on to pitch in junior college before beginning his career at the Miami News-Record in Miami, Okla. He has covered sports in Arkansas for almost a decade, with the longest stay at The Morning News of NWA, where he covered the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Nate Olson

Nate Olson is a Carroll, Iowa native and graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 1996 with a degree in journalism and a minor in broadcasting.
After college, Nate served as sports editor at two small newspapers in Iowa before moving to Arkansas in 1998 to accept a sports journalist position at the Benton County Daily Record in Bentonville. He also worked briefly as a reporter for the Northwest Arkansas Times before returning to the BCDR as the sports editor.
In 2001, Nate married his wife, Sheena, and moved to Central Arkansas where he began working for the Pine Bluff Commercial. At The Commercial, Nate covered the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and eventually became sports editor. Throughout, his career, Nate has freelanced for several newspapers and magazines, and made guest and host appearances on various radio programs. During his eight years in the newspaper industry, Nate earned writing awards for columns and features.
Looking to diversify his media experience, Nate left the newspaper industry in 2006 to work for Hooten’s Arkansas Football, where he remained until his move to Vype magazine in 2008.
