The West All-Star team, coached by Harrison's Kirk Bock, won the opener of this year's game in Fayetteville before tying the East All-Stars 2-2 in the late game that was called in the eighth inning. Brown was named the All-Star doubleheaders Most Valuable Player for his dazzling plays at shortstop as much as his offense as he reched on an error and scored the winning run in the opener. Brown also was named to VYPE's Super Squad in baseball and to the HSSTM Big Squad for football during his senior year.
