Keith mulling over offer from Kent State

Pulaski Academy Spencer Keith finally has scholarship offer. Now, he has to decide if he's going to take it. Keith received the offer on a visit to Kent State this weekend. However, the PA honor student must decide if he will take the scholarship or accept an invitation to walk on at Vanderbilt. Keith said he's drawn to the school's strong academic reputation. Keith studied for a test Wednesday night but said he has consulted his parents and PA coach Kevin Kelley, as he prepares to make a decision by Thursday night. Keith visited New Mexico State and Vanderbilt. New Mexico State offered another quarterback instead of Keith. Kent State, coached by Doug Martin, finished 4-8 last fall.
