Area Basketball Games Iced Out Again

The ice storm that blanketed the region earlier this week is still causing postponements of basketball games tonight. The first-ever hoops "Battle of Rogers" between Rogers High and Rogers Heritage was scheduled for tonight, but now will be played on Saturday at Heritage High. The games will begin with junior varsity action tipping off at 4:30 p.m. with varsity games to follow. Only one 7A West game scheduled for tonight is expected to be played and it's in Fort Smith between Southside and Northside. Fayetteville's games at Bentonville and Springdale High's games against Springdale Har-Ber that were scheduled for tonight have been postponed with no make-up date scheduled at this time. All of Tuesday's 7A West games were postponed and will be played on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
