VYPE Pick 'Em Update

Wendell Welbern continues to lead the VYPE Playoff Pick 'Em Contest Open Division, while there is a new leader in the Expert Division. Wellbern (125 points) tied with Doug McDaniel for the lead last week but now owns a three-point cushion. Jack Taylor is third with 115 points and former Little Rock Catholic quarterback Mat Miller is fourth with 111 points. VYPE's Rhett Lashlee jumped from third to first in the Expert race with 131 points. VYPE Central Arkansas Editor Nate Olson sticks in second with 125 points. Last week's leader, Fox 16's David Raath, falls to No. 3 with 123 points. B98.5 morning show personality, Jeff Matthews, is fourth with 116 points. The Scoring is tabulated by giving 1 point for each correct pick in the first round, 2 points for each correct pick in the second round, 3 points for each correct pick in the third round and so on. All correct Championship Round picks are worth 5 points. Contestants will be asked to predict the final score of all 6 State Championship games to help break any potential ties.
