Here's an interesting first-round playoff matchup:How bout Midwest City vs. Norman North?Well, while most thought the matchup wouldn't happen until, say, the state finals, it looks like the two could very well meet up in the first round.Interesting.Midwest City keeps winning. Norman North keeps losing, and the big loser in the two will be the West side. The worst thing that could happen would be a loss by one of the West's top teams, and that could very well happen.Check the standings.Midwest City is 4-0 in District 6A-2 with games left against Putnam City, Norman and Putnam West - the three of which have combined to go 6-15 this season.Norman North is in fourth place in District 6A-1 with games against Southmoore, Santa Fe and Lawton. If the Timberwolves aren't able to beat Santa Fe, you could easily be looking at a first-round meeting against the Bombers. And that's not good.
